Affiliate Disclosure

This website may receive compensation when you follow certain referral links and later sign up for or buy a product. This page explains how that works and what it means for you.

The short version

Some links on this website may be referral (affiliate) links to third-party software platforms. If you click one and later sign up or purchase, this website may earn a commission or other compensation from the company. It does not cost you extra.

This is a real financial relationship, and it can create a bias toward the platforms we link to. We would rather you know about it.

What is and is not affected

  • Educational content is written to explain concepts. Guides on CRM, automation, funnels and other topics are written to be useful without any purchase.
  • Compensation can influence which platforms we mention. We are more likely to link to companies that offer referral programmes. That means our mentions are not a complete or neutral survey of the market.
  • We do not say a product is the "best" or the only choice. We describe what a category of software can do, and we encourage you to compare options.
  • We do not accept payment to change what we say about a concept, or to publish reviews. We do not publish fabricated reviews or testimonials.
  • A referral link appears with a nearby note, such as the transparency note near educational calls to action, or a labelled box on the resources page.
  • Referral links carry the rel="sponsored" attribute, which tells search engines that the link is commercial.
  • Educational calls to action, such as "Explore an Integrated CRM Approach", may open a third-party platform through a referral link. Those buttons open in a new tab and are labelled as sponsored referral links, with an explanation directly beneath.

When a referral link is active, it appears at the end of each category guide in the box headed "Your educational next step", and on the resources page. The button opens the third-party platform (GoHighLevel) in a new tab, is marked "Sponsored referral link", and is followed by a plain-language explanation. The button text describes what you will learn or explore, not a promise of results.

Current status

Whether a referral link is active at any given time is shown on the resources page. If no link is shown there, no referral link is active.

Your choices

  • You can read everything on this website without clicking any external link.
  • You can go directly to a company's own website instead of using our link.
  • Whichever route you take, we suggest comparing options with the software evaluation scorecard and reading the vendor's current documentation and pricing.

Product information

Features, plans and prices change. Statements about specific products are meant as general descriptions and may become outdated. Always confirm details with the provider before you make a decision.

Regulatory context

Regulators in many countries expect clear disclosure of material connections between publishers and the companies they link to. For example, the US Federal Trade Commission publishes guidance on disclosures; see our sources page.
